Callis Communications Becomes
a Founding Member of the Cloud Communications
Alliance
Newly created Alliance to drive
first nationwide hosted-IP high-definition

Callis Communications, the leading

solutions, today announced it is
a founding member of the Cloud Communications
Alliance, a consortium of leading
industry players driving development
and adoption of the first nationwide
high-definition enterprise voice
and data network in the IP “cloud.”
The Cloud Communications Alliance
(CCA) was launched this week at
the Cloud Computing Expo in New
York City.
Callis Communications, a leading
regional provider of hosted telephony
and managed Voice-over-IP (VoIP)
services for small and medium-sized
businesses (SMBs), today announced
the acquisition of Targeted Technologies.
The expanded customer base marks
the company’s deepening penetration
into the Mobile, Alabama and Gulf
coast region.

As of 6 pm today Callis Communications
will be taking over services effective
immediately for Targeted Technologies
customers. All services will continue
and Callis will honor all customer
pricing and services. Callis will
be handling the transition over
the next 90 days and expects the
deal to close by May 31, 2010.

for Phones and IT
The
Sarland City Council voted unanimously to award the City's telephone and IT systems to Callis Communications.
The new system includes Voicepath Hosted PBX phones service, City server maintenance, and desktop support.
